Here is our new cosy baby room at Portico at West End, babies are cared for in a stimulating, homely environment where our baby room staff ensure your babies care needs are met to the highest standards, everything in the baby room is at the child's level, this helps develop your babies personal, social and emotional well being, as babies learn to make relationships with their key person, whilst learning and developing through the stimulating, sensory environment, come along to see for yourself.

Registered for 44 children.

The 2-5's group are together as this is two adjoined rooms, and is free flow based. A key person system ensures that all children's and families needs are met.

Parents comments are taken on board and are included in the monthly evaluation, to help us plan appropriately for each individual child, and to maintain that all important parent as partners is ensured.

All ten continuous provision areas are created to be exciting and inviting for all children at nursery, they challenge thinking, and are enhanced based on the children's interests. Children have the opportunity to play and explore, whilst staff encourage children to be involved and stay motivated, as well as have their own ideas and make links, staff are always at the child's level, asking open ended questions and directing learning when appropriate. Our Early Years Professional ensures pr-school children are ready for their transition to primary school.
