COVID 19 "Conditional Plan"

Opening schools and educational settings to more pupils from 1 June: guidance for parents and carers

As a response to the Government’s ‘Conditional Plan’ to Re-Open Society we have begun careful planning to help re-open the nursery within the next few weeks. The government have now released some further guidance on the steps childcare settings will need to take in order to re-open safely. The safety and well-being of children and staff is our key priority and we will adhere to the strict guidelines set out in the government documents and guidance. We hope to receive more detailed guidance over the next few weeks in terms of PPE and social distancing to help inform our planning and safe operating procedures.

My little boy has loved every minute of going to Portico Kindergarten. Two years ago, we moved over 300 miles and his transition from his old nursery to this nursery was amazing. Jane made everything about the move so smooth and she has been a star from his first day to his last. The staff at Portico all care about every individual child and build the best relationships with them. He has flourished in his time at portico and has really become a strong, confident little man and without the Portico love I don’t think he would be the person he is today. The encouragement and love that they show to both the children and parents is beyond what you would expect from a nursery and I would recommend them to everyone.

Two of my three children have been to this nursery and I cannot begin to explain how brilliant they are, Both my daughters have had problems with their confidence but they have come on leaps and bounds with the help of the caring staff. They go above and beyond with the children in order to get them ready for school. I love that they do the daily mile and the home learning they send home. As a parent I feel this is a great idea as we get to be involved in their learning. Absolutely brilliant nursery

Highly recommend Portico Moss Bank! My son who is ten this year came here and now my nearly 3 year old does. He has thrived so much since starting Portico a year ago. The nursery and toddler room are bright and colourful, full of toys and activities to keep children’s brains active. The staff are amazing and the love they have for my son makes it a pleasure handing him over! They have helped potty train him and with their help he is now 10 weeks without nappies! I just can’t thank them enough! Oh and the food always smells and looks amazing!
